Doug Campbell:  

I was the Guy that was quiet and I was a member of the Edison First Aid and Rescue Squad # 1 with Wayne Miller, Jay Marino and George Cox. I would at times be seen with Duane Palaima, Dave Deluca, John Demaria, Al Hoover, Ray Slocum, John Petz and others. In 1972 I started playing in a few Rock Bands, I played Bass with Crossroads from Franklin Township we were together for about a year. I jammed with a neighbor of mine and started a new group called Silver Tears and eventually became Toyz. We played clubs and Bars for about 10 years, some of them Red Fox, Osprey, Stone Pony and also did a few Frat Parties for Rutgers. Moved out of Edison in 1974 got married in 1975 to a Beautiful women Arlene Mondi who at the time was the sister of our Drummer Roy. I moved to Monroe in 1977 and still played in the Band until my Daughter Deanne was born on 11/22/1982 and she owned my Heart and still does to this day.
