Doug's Story
After " graduation " from North I went to undergrad and grad school at Springfield College. Then on to work as a counselor psychologist at some state programs and at Perkins school for the Blind in Watertown. Did some additional post grad work at BC and U Mass Boston. The on to the VA where I sort of retired after about 20 years. I established and ran a program for homeless veterans. ehabilitation services. Since " full" retirement I am living in Acton Ma. with my wife of 31 years, doing frequent long distance canoe kayak trips, some caving, and climbing.(Retired ) Very involved in wood turning and wooden antique canoe restoration , traveling to LA to visit my son ( who is trying to make it in independent films), spending time at our cabin in Southern NH and generally staying active.
My brothers family still lives in Framingham in the family home we have had for 71 years.
