Life Ahoy Class-of-74-mates, I hope that your life is a good one and that you are healthy..my gosh, we're all over 50 :) It's the new 30's...it's weird to have friends retiring, but the 50's have been the best decade of my life so far...still residing in Portland and just the other day I received a message from Daria, (Trehy) which reminded me that I had a profile on this site...just updating...if you've sent me messages in the past and I didn't respond it's because I forgot I was a member of this site.. I'm a single guy in the best physical shape of my life, 6' 205 lbs of gym built muscle, but also balanced spiritually and emotionally. Big BSox fan, like to eat, cook, mountain bike, hike, play tennis, some racquetball, hang out with friends, family, read, sleep. Planning my first trip to La Costa Amalfitana, Italy AKA the Amalfi Coast...Paestum, Pompeii, Capri, Positano, Sorrento...in December of 2008...the damn Euro is stronger than the USD$, what's up with that? Don't get me started...I didn't vote for him either time! VOTE!! in the next election...VOTE!! It's going to be a VERY important election. I've been carless for 4 years now, live 2 blocks from work in the prestigious Pearl District of Portland, OR. Walk movies, restaurants, transportation, grocery/shop online...have it delivered. It's an amazaing life without a car, but I can rent a car when I really need one. Jerry & Brenda Glanville (He's was Coach of Atlanta Falcons, Houston oilers, U of Hawaii, and currently starting his 2nd year at Portland State University [about 25 blocks away in downtown Portland] football coach) live in my building. What a nice couple they are. Jerry gives me free tickets to some of the games, plus field passes so we get to watch the game from the field with the players during the entire game...Expand for more
