Life
--graduated Rock Valley Community College 1993
--graduated from Eastern Illinois University 1996 (major Speech Communications/minor English, both w/ emphasis in secondary education)
--attended Catholic seminary for the Dominican order for 6 months in 1997 in Denver, CO
--moved back in with my parents, who were living in central Michigan to be closer to all family members in
--moved to Grand Rapids MI November 1998, partied, drank, had fun,no real friends,disfunctional relationship
--met Kevin Lucas in April 1999
--moved in with Kevin Lucas November 1999
--began paperwork with adoption agency to begin finding a child to adopt, any gender,any race,under 5 in age
--Fall 2004 All paper work completed for adoption
--December 2004 received info on a boy in Oregon availab...Expand for more

--January 25,2005 was told my partner Kevin and I would be getting custody of boy from Oregon
--Today: adoption is complete, loving my job most days but still not teaching, living and working in Grand Rapids MI (city similiar to Rockford), loving every day of fatherhood to a 4 year old, waiting for information on if son's birth mother may or may not be pregnant again and may or may not relinquinsh the child for adoption,preparing to celebrate 7 year anniversary with my Life Partner Kevin Lucas,wondering how Belvidere/Rockford have changed as I have not been there since summer of 1993, and wondering how many people will read this and how many will think "life partner, what? huh?" and how many will say "life partner, I knew it!" and who will say "me too!!"
