Doug's Story
After high school I attended American River College, and during the first semester I was involved in a serious car accident. After recovering I again attended ARC, and joined the Navy Reserve. A year of college, then almost two years of active duty in the Navy, then back to ARC. I graduated with an AA in Business Administration and transferred to UC Santa Barbara. port Beach to Bakersfield I resolved to put in a year, save my money and travel to Europe. Which I did. I spend almost two years travelling though Europe from Norway to Morocco and many countries in between. Back in the states I landed in Santa Cruz, where I have resided since 1976. I have been a real estate agent in Santa Cruz County for over 33 years. I have three children, now grown, and a nice home near the yacht harbor.
