Douglas's Story
Life
Doug graduated from El Modena High in 1985, then went off to University of the Pacific for 4 years, where he received his Bachelor of Music degree in 1989.
Doug has been married to the beautiful Cynthia Ann Murphy for 6 years. We have 2 gorgeous children, Brandon Rhys Johns, 12, and Meghan Elzabeth Murphy, 4. We moved to Valencia, California over 6 years ago. Doug works at home doing Talent Management.
Doug has been a talent representative for over 19 years. Doug credits his years with talent to his love of working with kids. I always wanted to be a Pro Football Quarterback when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a funny idea. As it turns out, they were right.
I like to run and relax with a good book. Watching football or baseball is fun, too. Being around my family relaxes me all the time.
If I'm going to work somewhere, I need to have space, antonomy, and plenty of humor to be able to deal with the day-to-day.
I admire my mom, Bono, Obama and my wife. They all inspire me daily.
The one person from my past who I'd most like to see again is David Stokke, because I wonder what he's up to.

As a father, I have learned to never take myself too seriosly.
My current age is 42. When I was 12, I thought that people my age now would be ooooolllldddd. I was so completely wrong.
My best friend would tell you I'm dependable, but people who don't know me very well would probably describe me as a family man.
I share my home with my family, which I find conforting.
In 10 years, I hope to be 52. I'm going to get there by growing older.
My first job was at Mervyns, where I got paid minimum wage to stock shelves and clean up after customers. What I remember most about it is dating a lot of the women staff.
