Doug's Story

Life After graduating from Lewis and Clark in 1987, I moved to Washington, D.C., working on Capitol Hill for a variety of members of Congress, starting with Senator Mark Hatfield and ending up with Congressman Doc Hastings. After twelve years in D.C., and almost constant travel, we'd had enough of the rat race, and moved home to Oregon, where we now live with our two won...Expand for more
derful daughters, 3 and 5. I work for a PR firm (Pac/West Communications) handling a variety of environmental and energy issues, including Columbia River cleanup issues. It's great being home, being close to the coast, and being able to enjoy the outdoors and family time. I still make it to Redmond regularly, and can't believe how much all of Central Oregon has changed.
