Doug's Story
Doug is from Oshawa, Ontario. He is married with Patricia Ross of Toronto. His schools include Oshawa Collegiate & Vocational Institute. He later attended Victoria University (University of Toronto) (Anthropology) and Ontario College of Education (U of T) (MEd). He is a Retired Educator and is studying Genealogy and DNA. Doug's interests include Clan Ross Association of Canada, Electric Scotland Community, Scottish Studies Foundation (as a Director), and the Society of Antiquaries of Scotland (FSA Scot). He wrote "Education in Oshawa from Settlement to City" (1969), "Our Ross Family Story" (1978), "The Enigma Machine" (a collection of over 1200 rebus puzzles), and "Taddle Creek Tales" (manuscript). He is past webmaster of the Clan Ross Association of Canada, and continues to manage his personal website, "The Ross-ter", which contains some travel information, an autobiography, and many events. .
