Life [Write me douglas.wekell(at)us.army.mil-not Classmates, I dont answer that account] After Blaine High I fled to to Seattle from an extremely dysfunctional family, and spent the next few years going to college, getting piss poor grades, partying too much, and cultivating the perfect mowhawk in an attemp to thwart "The Man." Ironically I then joined the Army to mature a little (alot actually). Got married to my wife Tina, and got involved in my very first war, Desert Storm. Returned and went back to college in Fairbanks Alaska, worked as a tour guide and limo driver for a strip club to pay for school. Joined ROTC to go enlisted to officer in the Army. Had two kids Alexander and Lillyana who rock and are my little X-men. First stationed in Texas (sucks), then in Seoul Korea, where I moonlighted in a tattoo parlor. Latest overseas station was Germany, where we travelled all over Europe, got deployed to Kosovo, then took my first company command, a 140 soldier medical company in Baghdad Iraq, where we setup for air and ground evacuation and treatment. Returned from overseas, then managed to get stationed in Fort Lewis and trained activated National Guard soldiers deploying to Iraq, for 18 months, after that took over as the Medical Planner for 3/2 Stryker Br...Expand for more
