Douglas's Story

After graduation I spent 4 years at SDSC and received my AB in Social Science. I had thought of teaching but in the summer of 1950 I got a Job at Cuyamaca State Park. So when I graduated I went to work as a State Park Ranger and retired in 1988 at age 54. I married in 1960 to another rangers daughter. We had a boy and a girl and 6 grandchildren (3B & 3G). The oldest is 25 and the youngest is almost 10. My wife died in the Spring of 2008; we were married 48 years. I miss her very much. I'm certain many of you have heard some crazy stories about me. My family and I started nudism in 1968. The first club we belonged to had about 1,000 members which included a Catholic Priest and 3 Protestant Ministers. having sex. Sorry to disappoint you but that wasn't our style. An unabridged story of my sex life would not be very long nor exciting. In 1980 I started managing non-profit organizations, mostly involved in park or environmental work. It was a labor of love and a hobby but I worked for about 7 organization over the next 25 years. Sometimes 3 or 4 at a time. In addition to keeping track of members and finances, I planned training sessions and conferences all over California. In November one of my best friends from High School and College died of cancer he was 75. He was always obviously very intelligent but he turned out to be very brilliant. Read about him on the web (Eli Sercarz, Phd) A really great person. It's been fun. Best wishes to you all. Doug Bryce
