Douglas's Story

Joined the Air force in 67, flight Medic for 3 years. Cross trained to Medical equipment repair. Stationed at Danang afb, Nellis afb, and Wiesbaden Hospital. Got out of the Air Force in 78. Stayed in Germany worked for Ge Medical Germany for 10 years. Then went to work for the State Dept servicing medical equip at the US embassies in Europe, Africa and the sand box. n AFB developing new field medical equipment. Retired first in 04, went to the US Virgin islands for a vacation, ended up buying a Medical supply company./ home health care. We stayed there until 2017,after the 3rd hurricane destroyed everything again. Sold out and came back to the states. Bought a small farm just outside Tipp City Ohio a quintessential small mid western town in fly-over country. We are just enjoying life now.
