Douglas's Story

I have lived in Boone, Ia since graduating from college. I taught high school math at United Community Schools for 5 years and have been at Boone High School since 1992. I have traveled to several countries on mission trips including: Bolivia, Venezuela, and Greece. I am planning a mission trip to Poland this July (2013). I enjoy...Expand for more
collecting and refinishing antique furniture and gardening. I completed my master's degree in Curriculum and Instructional Technology at Iowa State University in 2008. As part of my degree I wrote an article on Digital Story Problems that was published in the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics journal "Mathematics Teacher".
