Douglas's Story
After KU I went to school in Utah--started out Computer Science but ended up with a BA in Humanities (1990)
in 1988 I used student loan money to attend an intensive summer course in Welsh over in Wales.
After finishing my BA, I went back to school again for an MA in Comparative...Expand for more
Literature (1995).
I (finally) got married in 1996, then spent a "working honeymoon" teaching English in Korea.
Spent three years in St. John's, Newfoundland in a PhD Folklore program.
Moved back to the great Pacific NW in 2000, and trying to locate a full-time teaching gig.
