Douglas's Story
Hi, all.
Hard to believe 40 years have gone by. So many events and changes have taken place in that time. I became a developmental psychologist (Ph.D. from University of Vermont), went to Salt Lake City for a post-doc, and worked for about 17 years at the U of Maryland, going from assistant to full prof during that time. I'm now at Penn State U and direct the Ph.D. program in Human Development and Family Studies. Been here since 20...Expand for more
03. It's a great place. I've been teaching and doing research on young children and parenting all this time, in one form or another. Been married, divorced, and re-married, and have 3 kids (24 year old boy, a 13 year old girl, and an 8 year old boy). Also have 2 dogs and several other pets, and life here is never dull. I hope all of you who read this are doing well, and I look forward to hearing from you, if you care to do so.
