Douglas's Story
Life:
Still alive and kicking! The past: Worked in the service industry for quite a while. Then I was confronted with something that had been vexing my mind for years: I had to go back to school. I did a double major at CSUB: Philosophy and Religious Studies. From there, I attended The Claremont Graduate University where I graduated with a masters degree in Philosophy. My wife's job moved us around the Western U.S. so I am presently applying for adjunct positions in Philosop...Expand for more
hy at local junior colleges and substitute teaching positions. I am still working a regular job.
Update: fell off of a ladder at work in January 2013. A neck and elbow surgery later, I'm now disabled, on SSI disability. I'm also a substitute teacher in a few districts.
More Life:
Fell off of a ladder at work a few years ago, about a 8 foot drop on my back. One seven hour neck surgery and an elbow surgery later, I'm still alive and kicking. Please, don't trust your ladder.
