Douglas's Story
Life
I grew up in Outhwaite Homes on Case Court (between 40th and 55th Woodland Ave). I went to Outhwaite Elementary, Kennard Jr. high, and entered East Tech in the fall of 1957. Unfortunately I did not graduate East Tech with my 1960 class. I dropped out of school in Nov 59, joined the USAF in Jan 60 and married Gailey Davis in March 1960. rom Grant Union High (nite school), Sacramento,CA: AA degree Computer Data Processing, and BS degree Information Systems Management (Univ MD Univ College). After 20 yrs of military service (1960 to 1980) we retired from Air Force at Fort Meade, MD. I worked another 22 year, for the National Security Agency (NSA) at Fort Meade MD and retired from the Agency in 2002. I live in Severn, MD, and have been widowed since 2008.
