Douglas's Story
My Story...lets see...I was very young when I was born...OOPS not that story. Well after graduation I uh Geez that was a long time ago. I guess I can say I was raising a family...er...well I did graduate from UC Davis and I started my career in Telecom with Pacific Telephone in 1971. Married divorced. Two daughters 4 grandkids. I was a PBX repairman for many years in and around No. Cali. Living in Woodland for many years. I was offered a job in Tier 3(the support organization with AT&T just one step below the vaunted Bell Labs) Worked in Tier 3 for many years also before taking a position as a Remote Field Engineer in Portland OR to be close to the grandkids. After seeing the micro managing going on I decided it was time to end my career with ATT/Lucent/Avaya after 36 years. After retirement I came back to Denver as I still had my home there. I now work for a business partner of Avaya and work from home here in Denver. Dont get to see the grandkids as much as I would like but I am busy. My hobbies include Riding the H...Expand for more
arley(tons of fun) and riding the horses(3 hay burners) and flying(no plane, they are like boats-a hole in the water that you throw money into) Too busy working to warrant owning a plane. Cheaper to rent when I want to fly. When Fall comes there is hunting and I do miss diving. Only get ot go 1-2 times a year either Mexico or the Carribean usually. I am single now and that is fine. Lets see...what can I bore you with now. Oh..and of course being in Colorado, home of some of the best powder in the world, I do ski. Have bad knees to prove it. Thinking of trying a snowboard to see if that would be easier on my right knee. By the way..I am adoptable.

Well Just got back from Sturgis 2010. What a ride. Rode the Harley there. There were a group of 7 of us and we rode over 2K miles and saw many sites Sturgis included. Partied with the Hamsters and even met some new and old friends. Got the Shelby running this summer and taken it to some car shows. It does real well since it is completely original from paint to interior.
