Douglas's Story

Life I graduated June 1968 from Haltom Senior High school than worked at American Manufacting Company for the summer of 1968, went to Cisco Junior College one year Aug 1968 to June 1969. join the USMC 6-13-69 to 6-12-73.Over seas 11 months and 23 days, 2-1970 to 12-1970. Got married to Billie Carpenter on Dec.20th 1971 had three children all three died at ages from one month old to most one day short of 3 months old. She filed for a divorce, it was finalized Oct.12 1976. I went back to college August 29,1977 to April 27,1980 received a BA in Religion. Married a 2nd time Jan 20th 1978 to Susan Gaskell, she left on Oct 30th,1986 we have four children I finished rising them myself and with God's help and mercy in a big way from Oct.-1986 to Oct-1994 on AFDC & Food Stamps Than got Jod at OUS see list. All my sons have graduated from High School, Oklahoma Academy in Harrah,Oklahoma. The youngest Johnathon Scott graduated May 30th,2004, Oldest Douglas Ray Johnson Jr graduated May 28,2000, Nathaniel L. my middle son graduated May 28,2002. My oldest my only Daughter is married and has two daughters of her own, oldest was born Dec 1st 1998 Bridget Ann and youngest Olivia May born Dec 26th,2002. My oldest Son Douglas Ray Johnson Jr.will be 26 Oct 18,2006 lives in Lebanon,MO. and Johnathon turns 20 7-26-2006 he graduated from Cental State Message Academy Jan 2006 he lives in Oklahoma City,OK since April 30,2006. My middle Son Nathaniel L. will be 23 7-17-2006 he lives also in Lebanon,MO. with his sister and nieces and working no plans for college at this time.My daughter Amanda Reene Hulsey will be 28 Oct 25,2006. I have retired for medical reasons from Oklahoma Academy and I work with a out reach ministry touring the USA with a life size model of the Mosaic San...Expand for more
ctuary (the wilderness Sanctuary used after their exodus from Eypty)the Ministry is called Messiah's Mansion. It has been to over 23 places now presently in Az. Messiah's Mansion was in Jamaica From Jan 25,2006 to March 22,2006, first time it has gone out of the USA,was at three lactions while there Kingston,Manderville, and last Montego Bay. We saw the Lord working in a great and mighty way while there miracles in many ways, also the Devil fought hard while there to stop the work of the Lord. While working at Oklahoma Academy I did electrical repairs and installions,Heating and Air Repairs and Commercial Units repair, as well as phone systems, plumbing and carpentry,etc. I retired as of 06-30-2006. Military I enlisted for four years started it on Friday June 13th 1969 ended on June 12th 1973. Eleven Months and twenty three days (Feb 1970 to Dec 1970) over seas had orders for 1st Marine Division Denag,Vietnam. Orders was changed when I arrived at Okinawa. All with Vietnam orders stayed in Okinawa those with Okinawa orders went to Vietnam.I was assigned to Marine Air Base at Fatima, Okinawa. In Feb. 1971 when to Camp Pendleton next to San Clemente for couple months then they find out my MOS did not belong there I was a 1142 Electronic equipment repairman.They moved me to Main side Maintenance Company. I was there until I was discharged. While at Camp Pendleton getting train to perpare for Vietnam I have a short time on ship, trained to go by helicopters to do repair and at outpost, also I receive the standard jungle fighting and village search training to perpare for Vietnam.That is what I did while in the USMC.
