Life In 1980 I landed in Fresno and found recovery from alcoholism. I have been clean and sober now for 29 years. I met both of my wives here and had been happily married to my second wife for 24 years. I had a son with my first wife, Mike is presently 35 years old. I recently went back to school and received my AA degree in Liberal Arts, while holding down a full time job. Since my wife died in December 2007 I know longer volunteer my time working with non profit organizations.. I have started a small part time business which I hope will aid me in my retirement years. I love visiting with friends and taking my dog (sugar) to the local dog park. I am grateful for the friends I have found on Classmates.com. It has been a experience I will never forget. Its been a few years since I started this profile,and since then I have retired after working 24 years with the same company. In November and December of 2007 I experienced the worst days of my life. In November my brother and brother in law suddenly died. I coped with this as would be expected, I suppose. But, in December my wife suddenly died and I lost complete control.
