Life
CHRIS HAFNER-EATON (maiden: Hafner): Currently we are BACK from three years of living in the Dominican Republic & I'm about to begin my new job at NIH as a Health Policy Analyst! My emails: DrChris at Gmail dot net; LinkedIn & Facebook. I served as a public health/medical director at a DR orphanage. Our two younger boys were enrolled in a tri-lingual school in the DR. Our eldest now is completing his Freshman year at UCSB.

BRIEF BIOGRAPHY:
Dr. Hafner-Eaton is a Health Science Policy Analyst for the Office of Science Policy & Public Liaison at NIH in Bethesda, MD. Immediately prior to this position, she served for three years as a Public Health Officer in the Dominican Republic. & Health Education in parenting wellness; [as a now retired IBCLC (96, recert. 2001) & Certified Health Education Specialist ('94, recert. 2000)]. Her original research has been published in a wide array of journals including JAMA, J. Amb. Care Management, Amer. Behavioral Scientist, J. Poor/Underserved, others & lay publications such as Mothering Magazine. Her biographical listing is in many WhoÂs Who publications, & she has received numerous post-doctoral grants for research & awards, including from the AAUW, Fullbright-Hayes Fellowship, Social Science Research Council, Pew Trust, & the US Public Health Service . She has served on multiple Public Health Boards & APHAÂs Medical Care Council, LLLIÂs Coord of Research Review, OregonÂs Area Professional Liaison, various health Coalitions, & a LLLI group Leader. Dr. Hafner-Eaton, when well was very active, presented internationally, nationally, state/locally & consulted worldwide from her home office plus taught part-time internet public health courses so that she & her husband may practice attachment parenting of their three sons.
