Duane's Story
Life
Life in general is pretty stressful right now. Currently legally separated but living in the same house.
School
If I had to do it all over again, I wouldn't!! As far as the girls I had a crush on, the list is long, so I won't go there. To bad for me for being so shy when it came to the ladies! I hated the last year of high school. Most people that were friends when I moved to Boise for a year acted like I was a complete stranger when I came back for our senior year. Oh well, I don't really miss you now. I learned alot in those last two years of high school. Two of the most important lessons: 1. Life can really suck at times. Keep your head up and eyes focused forward. They tell me there is a light at the end of the tunnel, though it still eludes me to this day. 2. Choose your friends wisely.
Military

Learned to fold my underwear in basic training. Great training for what was to come in my career. Next I went to Illinois for 4 months of so called training. My first duty station location was Loring AFB Maine. Holy crap that was cold. We worked outside at -78 one weekend. Next I was stationed at McChord AFB WA. It was great to be home, sucked because I really didn't get to see any old friends. The ones I did see I didn't spend enough time with. Next I went to Howard AFB, Panama. I had a blast there, well most of the time anyway. Got married at the end of my tour there and moved to Dyess AFB Texas. Liked the community there, hated the base. In August of 2005 we moved to Graham WA. I don't mind it too much. So here it is December 2009 and I have one year left until I can officially retire. Might have to stay a couple more due to the economy, oh well!!
