Duane's Story

When I graduated from high school I went to work for First National Bank, spent six years with them, part of the time at Fort Ord, California. Me my wife of 46 years at the bank. Went into Mortgage bank for about 5 years and then we moved to Cannon Beach, Oregon where we have lived for 34 years. I have been a real estate broker for 33 years and own Duane Johnson Real Estate in Cannon Beach. In the in between years we have had 4 children Michael is 44 years old, and Sarah, Suzie and David will be 40 in May, yep triplets, that was fun. We now have 6 grandchildren 4 of which live in Cannon Beach and 2 in Portland. We enjoy walking the beach...Expand for more
, being with family, especially the grandkids. Just went on a road trip of 9 days with my 16 year old grandaughter. Have been into cars for ever and like to restore and drive them. Hot rods, street rods and corvettes. I have had as many as 14 at one time, but curently down to 4. I have a 2002 Vette, 62 Impala, 51 Suburban, 410 horsepower and a 1937 Buick with a 350 V8. Oh year last year I bought back the very first car I owned, anyone remember the black 52 Chev I had in high school? Well that's back in my garage, but rusty, dirty, needs everything, but the exact car I drove in high school. Anyway like to hear from any of the old friends.
