I'd like to say hello to any of my Coffee County High School classmates and Berrien County High School classmates that might stop by. I attended schools in Douglas from 1955-1965 and had some really good times in good ole Douglas, GA. Douglas was a good town to grow up in back in the 50s & 60s. I had a lot of good friends there but at the end of my sophomore year in 1965 the company my dad worked for closed and he had to find a job elsewhere. I thought life was over having to leave all my friends behind and start over at age 16 in a new town and new school. So we moved to Nashville, GA that summer. I started my junior year at Berrien County High School and it wasn't long before I had met new friends but I still missed good ole Douglas. Nashville soon became home though and I lived there for the next 20-something years. During my junior year of high school I started working part-time at the local radio station.
