Laurie's Story
Thank you for checking in with my profile. Hope all is well with you & your family.
I retired from teaching high school biology in 2018 after 30 years with my last 19 years at Long Beach Wilson High School. Yes, I miss my students and no, I don't miss some of them.
My son is 34 years old and has a job. He is a good person and has lots of friends. He stays very safe at work and is careful not to bring home any diseases that I might catch from him. This is a fine indication of his integrity. We have a dog & a cat. We like to go for walks around the neighborhood and periodically go to Huntington Beach Dog Beach. og so it is a treat when we make it all the way to dog beach without turning around and going home.
I like to garden and have many plants. Air plants (Tillandsias) and house plants abound inside our house and outside, cactus & succulents. Copiapoas, Echeveria conte, and Euphorbias are among my favorites. I play piano especially for the dog & cat. They'll cuddle next to me as I play. I love my family especially my brother, Dave and his family. We like to motocross at LACR and anywhere that has a good track. He rides & I take photographs and videos.
