Frederic's Story

Life I reside in Florida, and have been living here since July 1993. I have a female german shepherd, and her name is Jaden. She is full-blooded, and fully grown ;-) I have graduated college with a BS in Computer Science & Applied Mathematics from Alcorn State University, and later went on to pursue and obtain my MS in Computer Information Systems-- from University of Phoenix. I still love rap music, and yes I can still hang with the best of them, but you know what? Life does go on, and one of the main things I would like to do right now is hook back up with my friends from years past!!! Hit me up. Regards, Frederic Ducksworth School My Biggest Crush: Many of you already know this, but I had the biggest crush on rap music!! And yes there was a lady or two that I had a crush on as well, but I can't say any names here... hehehe... I'm too embarassed because in those days I was afraid of disapointment-- if you know what I mean. Teachers who really inspired me: Seriously though, my favorite teacher with Ms. Rose, and my second most favorite teacher was Coach Ginter. If I could do it all over again: If I could do it all over again, I wouldn't change a thing. These memories are mine to cherish forever and ever. I wish that I had just a little more time to spend with my friends from DaRock!! College I attended Alcorn State University in Lorman, MS on a full academic scholarship. I scored high enough of the ACT to get the scholarship, and I signed my letter of intent. Wouldn't you know that I graduated highschool from Baumholder in 1986, and didn't step foot in a classroom until 1989? And to think, many of you thought I was only good for the "rapping"-- but here again that really was my first love!! My favorite roommate from Alcorn has got to be Alexis. Some of you don't know him, but that was my room dog... my buddie... we were together just like Chris and I was back on DaRock!! After obtaining my BS in Computer Science & Applied Mathematics-- graduating with honors, I went to work for the federal gover...Expand for more
nment in Florida as a Computer Specialist. The year was 1993, and believe it or not, I am still here in Florida. Now, let's fast forward a few years to 1999. I decided to go back to school to pursue my Masters. And guess what? I attended University of Phoenix, and got my Masters in Computer Information Systems, and again I graduated with honors!! So, I still worked full time, and I even went to graduate full time, all at the same time ;-) That was a long and hard two years, but it was well worth it. Share some of you college life with me too!! Workplace Some of you know that my very first job after graduating from Baumholder American High School was Burger King! I worked there for about 6 months, and then got a promotion over to the Sight & Sound Center. Also, while I worked there, I got 2 more promotions and life was really good. I DJ'd almost every weekend, and more and more people came to the places I jammed at. Heck, I even DJ'd for the Baumholder HS too on several occasions!! Moved back state side a couple of years later, and then off to collge. If you want info on my college life, then click on the colleges link, but this link is about work. I graduated college in 1993, and was heavily recruited by the federal government as a computer specialist. Ohhh, one thing I forgot to mention is that while I was in undergraduate school, I worked during the summers in Piscataway, NJ for Bellcore-- a very very tech savy company who hired nothing but the best computer programmers... Yup, you guessed it, that was me, a computer programmer. Okay, now let me get back on track, yes I work for the federal government as a computer specialist, but about 3 years ago, my title changed to IT Specialist (IT for Information Technology). Don't sweat it, it's still computers as my main job... hehehehe!!! Now, tell me what you do? Military I thought about elisting in the military after I graduated college, but instead opted for the next best thing.... a job as a federal government employee!! That's enough for me ^wink.^
