After graduation, I dated then married my high school sweetheart (she was from Arvada) and attended college for a couple years at Metro State and Colorado School of Mines. Our marriage and my college career both ended after a couple years and I escaped to the oilfields of North Dakota and Wyoming, among other places. I never remarried though I have had the pleasure of knowing several wonderful women over the years and though we are no longer together I am still friends with many of them. I worked as a geologist and petroleum engineer for nearly 18 years and had many wonderful experiences and made many good friends but after a while life as an oilfield gypsy got to be too much for me and I retired from that industry in 1996. After a failed relationship with a beautiful younger woman in Bismarck I returned to Denver where I took up a new career as an electrician, but after so many years of living "out in the country" I could no longer stand the fast paced Denver lifestyle and eventually moved to Western Colorado...Expand for more
