Dwan's Story

Life Single Grandma of 4 soon to be 5. They say kids help you stay young. If that is true I must be pretty dang young. Somedays I feel 10 others 110. The bad thing is I still have gray hair when I feel 10. School CMR was a hard place to be when you feel like your an outsider and your some what shy. I look back on that time and wonder why so many people intimidate me. Don't get me wrong I had many great times there. I made friends that I still hold dear. It is odd how somethings stay with you over time. The most careless words spoken at the wrong time can cause hurt for many years. I know I have said and done things that has hurt some people and I truly am sorry for that. I wish I knew then as I do now that words, thoughts and deeds have to ability to hurt or heal a soul. I, like many, never took the time to really look for the true person under the outer mask. Some of the best looking people hid a dark soul and the ugliest faces hid the souls of gold. In everyone there hides some good. We just have to take the extra time to look deeper and seek it. Listen with our hearts and souls not our ears. We all have a journey or path we must walk in life which path we choose has lessons we need to learn. It took a long time to find my path again, and to learn to listen with the heart. We all need to be wanted and loved. A hug ever...Expand for more
