the country. Third world a bit, but life is easy...cheap...and healthy, here at a little over 4000 ft. above sea level. Lots to see and more to do. Never knew you could live without a car or motorcycle...just one foot in-front of the other!!! I never plan on going back any farther than the Panama-Costa Rica border, unless it is to some of the islands in the Carib.
6-1-2017...and still vertical!
Still in Republic of Panama, over 4+ years now, and still love the place. Better than Costa Rica. Still looking for right sail boat (47-52') to sail around the world, or at least the Carib. and South Pacific. Life is still GREAT, and health is even better...knock on teak! (updated 3-5-2021) ...yep...still vertical and kickin! New Cowboy hat and boots! Been a cowboy here in TEXAS for j.ust over 2 years, but found it is harder than Rough-necking in the oil field (10 yrs) but I was 30 years younger. Finally checked off another "bucket-list item...Flew an ultra-light MX4 and now a full time retiree...until we get our boat. That is just around the corner! Found one in La Paz MX that fits the bill. Rockdale is now our permanent home until we move aboard...if all goes well.
