Dwight's Story

After graduating from Glendora High, I went to Citrus College for 2 years, then joined the U.S. Air Force in 1968. I lucked out and was stationed in London for my entire enlistment. Upon returning to the U.S. in 1972, I completed my BS at CSULA majoring in Computer Science. I went to work in 1975 at Litton Data System as a Software Engineer on Command, Control, Communication and Intelligence systems . ge software. In ~2000, I started managing Avionics system development for the next generation Cobra Helicopter and the Huey. Later, I managed the development of the Advanced Hawkeye avionics software and was the Engineering Project Manager. I retired in late 2008. My wife and I like to travel frequently to Europe and within North America. We travel less frequently to the other areas of the world (e.g. Africa, South America, and the South Pacific) because we hate the long flights. We live up in the hills of the West San Fernando Valley.
