EDDIE's Story

im in Corpus Christi Texas and i just retired from my job because they were moving to Northern Texas and i own a house here so that's not going to happen but i live alone I've been single along time it's not that i want to be it's just i don't go out looking for that so this is my life lol i hope everyone is doing very well that is my hope for all who knows me and reads this I want to add that no matter what life throws at you and knocks you down just get up and dust yourself off and say IS THAT ALL YOU GOT and if I recall what the American Indian said TRUE WISDOM ONLY COMES FROM PAIN and I have to agree with them because I do know how that feels like and I know they do ,when my only son died I almost gave up on my life but I did give up music because I felt like I had nothing left to offer even though I've loved music ever since I was 6 years old and it was finally starting to happen I had a awesome agent and knew some of the greatest musicians and ROCKSTARS that I thought I wouldn't ever meet but did it was amazing to me after my son died I just felt empty so I told my agent I was leaving the industry and he came over to talk me out of it God bless him he's the greatest agent I've ever known and he said why would you leave now right when your about to have everything you ever wanted I told him I would have liked for them to share in my success with them and I told him you know Rick it's not fame or fortune and not even money the measure of a man? It's his family that makes him a success. And I left you know they say if you love your job it's like you never worked a day in your life thats how I felt about music. I still had a daughter to raise and thats what helped me pull my life together after that and my daughter told me about a year ago that when she was 9 or 10 year's old that she was so unhappy that she thought about killing herself and I said WHAT and I didn't even notice this that you were that unhappy with your life and then she said well ...Expand for more
it's because when you picked me up for our weekends that is what made me happy that's why you didn't know about my unhappiness and she told me thank you daddy that you made me happy enough to forget about that idea and Isaid well I'm glad too because if I would have lost you I think that would have finished me off I don't think I could have rebounded from that because I told her it was because of her why I wanted to keep pushing on and I'm so glad that I was able to watch her grow into the greatest human being I think ive ever known when she was10 she was on the internet and saw this site LOCKS FOR LOVE and it was about kids who had no hair and you can donate your hair to make them wigs so they don't feegaso strange about their sickness and she asked me daddy can I donate my hwdr because my daughter has truly beautiful hair and I said I don't see why not and then she said how about you daddy because I had really long hair and I said whooo I said you can I didn't mean my hair but I did for her how can I say no to that request you know I couldn't have taught her about that she just has a beautiful heart and now she does something I never imagined she would do and in her spare time she takes calls from people that are on the edge of wanting to killneedsaelves so she's on a suicide hotline I just love this about her she has so much love in her heart and I told her please don't ever change because this world needs more peopoû like you and I'm so glad you never killed yourself and this is something that you can tell these people that are on the edge of leaving life tell them that SUICIDE IS A PERMANENT SOLUTION TO A TEMPORARY PROBLEM that's the best advice I couldposisibly give anyone so don't give up because you never know what you would have missed out on. I hope that this helps someone anyone in some positive way because the best was yet to come and It keeps on coming. I wish you all the very best and hope you have great moments like this in your lives.
