Erica's Story

I transitioned from OHS to Southern Union State Community College followed by Auburn University receiving a B.S. degree in Management. After working for 13 years at Gayfers as a Dept. Manager, I decided to pursue a degree in Counseling. In December 1997 I graduated from Troy University with a M.S. degree in Community Counseling. o guess what? Oh yes...I enrolled at Nova Southeastern University and received my doctor of education degree in Spring 2011. I am employed at the AL State Dept. Of Education as a Education Specialist II. I have one son, Scout and I am involved with several ministries at my church in Montgomery. I am a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. Montgomery Alumnae Chapter. I enjoy baking, planning and directing special events, and making floral designs.
