Earl's Story
Life
My name is Earl Ericsson, and I graduated from Newtown in 1989. I moved to the Sunshine state and graduated in 91 from Indian River Community College, and then in 94 from Broward Community College. I worked as an Emt and Paramedic until 1996 in the Ft Lauderdale/West Palm Beach area, and also Cocoa Beach which is Brevard County where my mother still resides. In June 1996 I received a job offer in the Central U.S., and moved there shortly after. tic through the local Community Colleges. I worked as a tactical Paramedic, and also as a police officer. As a paramedic I was promoted to Lieutenant, training officer, and then Captain. I accepted the position of Director of Emergency Services, which I still presently hold. I am a member of South East Emergency Medical Services Directors Association, 911 user committee, Trauma committee, and Homeland security committee.
