Earl's Story
Life
Got a BA in Russian History (don't ask me why!!) from Univ. of Wisc. in 1970 (took six months off for U.S.Coast Guard Reserves). Then got an MBA from Univ. of Virginia. Moved to D.C. in 1972 in the Real Estate Investment Business until 1977. Married in 1973...divorced in 1976...no kids from first marriage. Then moved to Richmond, Virginia in 1977. Stayed in Real Estate Investment Business here until 1983. Moved with new wife and one son to N.Y.C. Garment Center...ran wife's family business for 7 years...hated it. oved back to Richmond, Va. in 1990. In 1993 started my own company, developing new Seniors apartment properties and acquiring run down older communities and renovating them. Both my wife and I are active in the local community, both at our synagogue and in the community at large. Our son, Jesse, now 22, is a Senior at The College of William and Mary. (On a sad note...my Dad passed away in December of 1997 and my Mom in late August 2000). Anyway....I've no complaints....I miss Syracuse a bit...but dearly love Richmond and our lives here.
