Earl's Story
Life
Long time since 25th reunion of Seacrest class of 1960. Have a little catching up to do. First, while I attended Western Carolina College from 1964-69, gaduated from Florida Atlantic University in 1981, and a second degree in 1982, to teach school. Worked on Western Carolinan at WCC. After that I pursued a newspaper career with various papers; first, Asheville (NC) Citizen-Times; and the last was The Sanibel (FL) Island Reporter. I was a professional with Boy Scouts of America in Glades area of Florida, then in south Georgia. a freelance writer and am working on a novel, (still working) first of a trilogy. I've been fortunate to be able to do this, largely made possible by my third wife, Bea, who I married in 1990. We now make out home in my favorite place, the mountains of North Carolina. (It wasn't her favoriite place, she left me in June 2008 to move back to Florida. Well, that's about all, folks. My book is about one-third done; still about that, though likely do some condensing now. Just keep plugging away best I can between life's major and minor crises and its disruptions, illnesses, deaths in the family. Hope to join the ranks of our other published classmates soon.
