Steve's Story

Life Went directly into the AF after graduation, as a medic. Got to do a lot of traveling and see many interesting places....San Antonio....Okinawa...Georgia and Germany. Got out in 80 and attended Univ. Alabama-Birmingham where I got my BS in Nursing. Returned to Syracuse area and worked for a year at Lee Memorial in Fulton before going to Upstate Medical where I met my wife; the former Ann Sweeney(everyone calls her Ty now), class of 74. Got my commission in 87 and returned to the AF. We lived on the Miss. coast for four years before getting stationed in Albuquerque. Did one more overseas...Expand for more
tour to England(Lakenheath) before retiring. Had hoped to stay in NM but Mother-in-laws health had us going full circle and returning to Upstate NY.Married over 20 years, no children but plenty of animals. Currently working part time in a research clinic. Moved back to the CNY area in July 02. Have a place in Lafayette with some space for the animals.Ride my Harley when I get the chance but not as many chances in CNY as there was in NM. Still have the traveling bug tho and have ridden the bike to Sturgis via NM and to Florida among other places. Hope to return to a warmer climate one day.
