Ed's Story
I read some more of these and I think I need to do a better job.
I went to WVU for a couple of years for engineering.
Decided that at the time that wasn't what I wanted to do. So, I took an apprenticeship to be an electrician at Newport News Shipbuilding in Virginia. I helped build aircraft carriers and submarines on Navy contracts.
I then moved to Arizona where I continued working in different industries to build up my resume; open pit copper mining, High speed manufacturing. While in AZ I managed to get myself married to a gal I met in VA. We had son numb...Expand for more

Moved to WV where I worked at steel mills, aluminum mills and a stint at Allegheny power. Had my daughter in WV.
Took a job as an operator in nuclear power production for PSE&G in NJ. Had son number 2 in MD (cheaper to live in MD and commute to NJ).
Moved back to AZ to work for APS at Palo Verde. I'm back to being a technician/electrician. Had son number 3 (yes, a total of 4). Then I did what was so fashionable nowadays and had a disastrous divorce.
Now I simply work to support my real job as a full time single Dad.
