Ed's Story
most of you probably don't remember me. those of you who do probably won't remember much. i usually flew just under everyone's radar and never really bothered to fit into any of the little social cliques. basically i've had to start my whole life all over from the very beginning four times now. this time i plan to keep it simple. my philosophy is..... "if i don't have it, nobody can take it away from me ever again". anyway, enough of the hard luck story, so now on to the rest. on the plus side, i've never been to prison and i'm still breathing so i guess all in all i'm still ahead of the game. i'm pretty much an average blue collar shlub, just like i and everyone else figured i would be. i never went to college or furthered m...Expand for more
y education beyond graduating from HS. there' really not much to tell other than i now have 4 kids, ages 21, 19, 9 and 7. that's about the only reason i bother waking up every morning. these days it's all about me and my kids and nobody else. being nice to people got me nowhere fast so i've pretty much abandoned that. i'm still a nice person, just not quite so quick to befriend or trust as i used to be. i'm now running (as i have been for several years now) a small towing company in ct. this seems to be working well with my non-trusting and new found cynical and sarcastic nature. also, after smoking 2 packs a day for almost 25 years i quit almost 2 months ago. finally. and it wasn't near as difficult as i figured it would be.
