Life so far.. after getting drafted in 64 ed joined the navy to dodge the army, go see the world and learn a trade. Seven years , two submarines (pig boats) and an aircraft carrier (bird farm) later ed got out and went to school on the GI bill to try something else. By chance and or fate he fell into theater. 38 years ,a BA in theater and MA in dance (!), several theater companies, a few bit parts in movies and tv,numerous part time teaching jobs later ,Ed finds himself living in Berkeley calif with his 2nd wife, a taiko drummer, amusing himself with political satire with the SF mime troupe (no, not that kind of mime),the "Dick n Dubya" show , religious satire, instigating and leading the annual st stupid's day parade since 1979 , bouncing his 6 yr old grandson on his knee, exploring the deserts of the american west,performing his one man show "SUBHUMAN-true tales from beneath the sea" and wondering....why am i so lucky.Traveled half way round the world with the navy and the other half with the mime troupe.
