Ed's Story
I graduated from Southern CT State College in Feb, 69. Married my wife Kathleen in 1970. She's now a retired RN. Lived in Stratford for 40+ years, we have a son, Matthew who graduated from MIT. He took a job with UBS in Chicago 8 years ago, seeing my two granddaughters (at that time) leaving was heart breaking. I retired from Ct Dept of Labor after 33 years in 2002 and started doing volunteer work at St Vincent's Medical Center. ear our 3 lovely grandchildren (Abbey, Sarah, & Logan). I'm now doing volunteer work at Glenbrook Hospital - I love dealing with the public. I'm a huge UCONN women's basketball team fan - am looking forward to seeing them when they come out here to play DuPaul in December. My other hobbies include biking, going to antique shops, and nonfiction reading. I return to CT a couple of times a year to visit former coworkers, church friends, and former neighbors. Retirement is good - every day is Saturday.
