My Life
I finally retired from the National Guard and took a job in Cleveland with an engineering firm. Yes, I miss the military, but I'm getting too old for all that. My knees are shot and my shoulder can separate on command. I got hooked on gold panning while in California in the 80's, and have gotten back into it. I've been ...Expand for more
prospecting in North Carolina and will be going back this spring. Found some emeralda, saphires, and rubies while there. A glass of good scotch tastes really good around the campfire after a long day of panning.
Military
In 1990 I joined the Army National Guard. Between the Army and Navy, I have travelled to 13 countries on 4 continents. I've spent a year and a half just in Nicaragua on three separate relief missions after Hurricain Mitch. I am now at home in Akron for the time being.
