Ed's Story
Life
Hi, everybody,--I decided to do this bio thing after reading a few and finding them very interesting. I hope you all do the same.
Anyway, Napa J.C. for two years, and then went with Dick Vaverka down to Long Beach State where we rented an apartment. I must not have been a very good room mate, 'cause he moved out after the first year. Wonder what happened to him. Dan Charlesworth came down and stayed with me for a couple of months, but then he disappeared too. Wonder what happened to him. Got married in '64. I know what happened to her, she found a boyfriend while I was in Viet Nam. When I got out of the Army, I got a job here in Washington state, teaching music and math. It didn't take long to realize that teaching music was WAY more difficult than math, so I went back to school and got accredited in math, and moved up to the high school level, and taught for 22 more years. Clover Park H.S. in Tacoma.

ed my wife Gwen in 1976 and since she already had 3 kids, we figured that was enough. Two of them are married. We have 4 grandkids, the oldest is 17, and all are doing fine.
Gwen retired in '92 and I followed in '96. We have a nice home here in DuPont, Wa., but spend the winters in an R.V. community in Yuma, AZ. ............. Update:
Gwen passed on Dec. 21, '16. Lung cancer. I truly hope none of you have to deal with that. It is a HORRIBLE thing, for everyone involved.
My new love is Lone (pronounced Lona). She is Canadian. We met at Sun Vista RV Resort in Yuma......and so far everything is wonderful. More to come later. I know you can't wait. Haha..........OK, it's "later" time: Lone and I are getting married here in Winnipeg, Manitoba on July 14th. It's June, 2018 as I type this. Sometimes these bios don't get read for years. Probably the case for me. I wasn't the H.S. quarterback. Damn you, Marshall Yeager. Haha
