Eddie's Story
As John Lennon sang, "All you need is love". I still believe it! After High School I went off to college, grew my hair out, and continued to play drums in a rock group. My heart has always been in helping others, so I majored in psychology and minored in religion. My quest for knowledge and a desire to help others lead me to complete a Master's degree at Duke University and finally a Doctorate at the University of the South.
I met my wife, Joanne when I was employed as a director of a crisis intervention center in Southern Pines, NC. Along the journey three wonderful children were added to our family.

was not spending more time with people really getting to know them.
I love a good cup of black coffee in the morning with friendly conversation. I enjoy lively intelligent debate, but not in the morning at the start of the day. I love hugs and being touched. I like mutual sharing and transparency with friends. I enjoy good tasteful humor to lighten up the mood. There is nothing like a good belly laugh to help me get through the day. My favorite ice cream is coffee ice cream, or vanillin. My favorite color is blue. I am a bit sentimental. I believe in trust, honesty and truth. I believe in faith, hope and love, but I believe the greatest of these is love.
