Eddie's Story

After I graduated in 1966, I enlisted in the Air Force and served four years. I was honorably discharged in September of 1970. After basic training, I was stationed in Gila Bend Arizona where you will find side winders (a type of snake), scorpions and gila monsters. I was stationed there for 18 months. While I was there, I met my wife. Her dad was also in the Air Force. My wife and I got married in December of 1967 in Gila Bend Arizona and we are still married. My wife and I have one son. His name is Kristopher Wayne Rogers. We call him Kris. He has yet to find the right woman to marry. He is single and he is a graphic artist. He is very proficient in Photoshop. He works for a company in Dallas where they take school pictures and he processes them and he builds things that go around these pictures to enhance them. After I got out of the Air Force, I worked for a few different companies doing different things. The one job I enjoyed the most was for an engineering company in Dallas. I worked as a pressure vessel and heat exchanger designer and drafter. I worked with different process engineers. The equipment I designed went into oil refineries around the world. I worked in the Petro-Chemical Engineering field for over 20 years. Then I worked on a computer helpdesk for just over 13 years. I am Microsoft certified in Word and Excel. I was on a special team because I was a specialist in my field. I retired at the end of December of 2009. After I retired, Yahweh called me to put a book together on tithing because the church is not teaching tithing correctly. So, with His help, I wrote a book on tithing titled “Tithing In The Church – Is It Scriptural Or Unscriptural?.” This book (printed version) can be ordered from the website noted below. I have made this book available as a free downloadable PDF file for those who would like to have the book. I am a believer in Yeshua Who is the Son of Almighty Yahweh. I use their Hebrew names over their Greek names. I believe in using the right name for all people, including the One who saved me. My wife and I’s church background is mostly non-denominational with two Baptist churches in the mix. Twenty years ago, Yahweh called both of us out of the last church we were attending which was a non-denominational church into a Messianic Jewish assembly. It is here that we learned more about the original faith that the Apostles had and how they kept the Written Word of Yahweh. In the early years in this journey, Yahweh had me do a lot of research on different things. I learned things I knew nothing about. He directed me into His Truths from His Written Word. He opened a door for me t...Expand for more
o become an ordained minister. So, I stepped through that door and became an ordained minister in June of 2011. Yahweh did not call me to be a shepherd of a congregation but rather to be more of an academic minister. He continues to have me doing research to get to His Truths and then share those truths with those who have ears to hear and eyes to see. I have come to understand that some things being taught in the Christian churches is not correct and this is why He has me doing research to get to His Truths. He had me put together a website specifically to help those who are a part of the Body of Yeshua/Jesus to learn more of His Truths and what He expects of His children. If you are hungry for His Truths from His Absolute Written Word, please drop by torah-truths dot com and you will find a good deal of content covering a wide range of topics. There are video teachings by different teachers. There is some praise and worship music you may have never heard before. I continue to add more content to the website as He directs me to do so. The website is not about me nor will it ever be about me. It is about helping my brothers and sisters in Yeshua/Jesus. My wife and I are a part of a small first century assembly. We meet in people’s homes and we read the Old and New Testaments. We have a balance in our readings. We also have discussions on what we read and we have some good discussions. About four years or so ago, Yahweh spoke to me and told me to get out of the city. So, by faith, I put our house we had built in 2003 on the market and it sold in six days to a couple who lived in Maryland. Yahweh opened up all the doors for us to move to the country where we are now. We love living in the country. It is very peaceful. I have an aquaponics system I am working with in my greenhouse. I also help out one of my neighbors by helping him repair and build new fence for his ranch. He is my brother in Yeshua/Jesus. We help one another like the Bible teaches us to do. At this point, I am doing research on Joseph and his two sons—Manasseh and Ephraim. These are key people groups in the Bible in the End of Days. I hope and pray all who read this will be blessed and I encourage everyone to drop by the website noted above and check it out. Be honest with yourself. Be teachable. I have been using this particular saying now for nearly 20 years, “It is better to be divided by truth than united with error.” This is what the website is about—His Absolute Written Truths contained in His Written Word we know as The Bible. May Almighty Yahweh guide each and every one reading this into His Truths. Shalom (Peace), Eddie Ray Rogers
