Edgar's Story
I retired from Norfolk Southern Railroad in 1995 after 27 years service, as Track Supervisor.
I have been married to the Same bride for 56 years. We have two girls, one grandson two granddaughters and one great grandson.
We travel all over the wonderful U S A in our RV, what a life. I have worked in Alaska for the DNR and traveled over Alaska. Took my grand kids on a train trip from Charlotte N.C. To Flagstaff Arizona, spent a week in Sedona , Grand canyon, took a rafting trip down the Colorado River, then trip back to Charlotte..
My hobbies are living to the fullest outdoors.
I canoe and kayak ever river I can, I travel every chance I can get my bride to go, sometimes by myself., I ride 1600 motercycle every chance I get across the Blue Ridge Parkway. I show two antique farm tracto...Expand for more
rs over SC and NC, fish, little hunting, I joined the ChesterCounty Seniors Sports, and we have our senior games in fall of year in the county,
In the spring we go to Francis Marion Unuversity and have our State Senior Olympics Games, In 1996 our group from Chester went to Orlando Fla. for the National Senior Olympic games with over 13000 men and women from USA and 13 foreign countries. I love trains, and have a 12ft. By 24 ft. Building with several trains.. I golf twice a week , play church volleyball and very active in my church. When I have time I work in my yard.
The most important thing is, without having my lord and savior with me and taking care of me and blessing me this would not happen. All praise and glory goes to Jesus Christ my Lord and saviour , Grace and Peace
