Edith's Story

Life As you probably know, my maiden name is Crebassa. These are some of the experiences I've had and a little about where and who I am today. I last saw most of my classmates in highschool so I'll start there. During my last year of highschool I dated my first and deepest love. He was 12 years my senior. We had a wonderful two year relationship during which time I graduated high school, dabbled in photography from both sides of the camera, went to College of Marin completing some of my general education requirements, and worked as an assistant manager at Unknown Jeromes. After we split (not his fault - mine, I was young and had insecurities)I took some time off and moved to Lake Tahoe. While in North Shore, I skied two winters from beginning to end and learned tennis during the summers. By the end of the second season, I was skiing fall line through the bumps down most of the expert runs at Squaw Valley and worked as a mountain guide for VIP's from a local casino. After Tahoe I moved back home, got a job, got engaged then married, and dreampt of skiing from time to time. I worked, went to school, had my first child, then my first separation/divorce. About this time my mother died and I went home briefly to help my father out and adjust into a new life. I was working at a title company in Tiburon. Several years later, I married the father of my second child. This marriage failed as well, I changed title companies and moved up to Novato. This time I stayed single for a good period of time, studying scripture and decompressing from my two failed marriages. I changed title companies, again, gaining a promotion to escrow officer and a healthy raise then was laid off one year later after about six months of the slow real estate and refi markets in 1994-95. From there I went back to school and completed most of t...Expand for more
he required courses for a Business Administration Degree. In December of 1995 I married again. My father died in 1997 just after I had the first of two more children. I can honestly say, I think that I've experienced life; I've loved deeply and lost love, been blessed with four beautiful children, learned/lived skiing and tennis, lost both of my parents, divorced twice, had a career, was laid off, and you know, life happens. I've found that you can be lost in that struggle trying to handle it all by yourself, or you can develop a personal relationship with God/Jesus and invite him into your life to help through any trial or tribulation. Personally, I choose the latter. Presently I'm separated from my current spouse, finished a large ongoing remodel, and with God's grace have sold that property. I'm living in Santa Rosa and I love the country, weather, and people out this way. This is 2008 and my oldest daughter is 22, my oldest son is 18, my younger daughter is 11, and my little guy is 8. Along with raising children I find myself driving, a lot! In my spare time I enjoy experiencing, researching, and reading God's word, I love my church (Spring Hills Community Church in Santa Rosa), the fellowship, and bible studies that I've been attending. If I were lost on a desert island I would want the following materials: Books - NIV Study Bible, NIV Exhaustive Concordance, Healing is a choice by Stephen Arterburn, The Purpose Driven Life by Rick Warren, Webster's Dictionary, and the complete works of Shakespear. I still love skiing, photography, and tennis. I'm enjoying where I am today. And, I welcome what the future will bring. I would love to reconnect with friends from my past. If you are someone I knew please don't hesitate to send me an e-mail. My e-mail address is edithford at earthlink dot net. Cheers!
