Edith's Story
Home: I live in Holiday, FL, it's a small city in the Tampa Bay area, just over the Pinellas County line, next to Tarpon Springs & the Greek Sponge Docks. It's convenient for me, only 40 min. to Clearwater, St. Petersburg, & Tampa. Live in an apartment for now.
Profession: I'm still working in an attorney's ofc. in Palm Harbor, FL...Receptionist, personal secretary & bookkeeper. I also babysit for his youngest son, a 3-yr. old boy who is like another grandson to me.
Family: I have 4 grown children (a son & 3 daughters) & 8 grandchildren. Fortunately, my son, a daughter & 2 grandsons live here in FL. The others are all in Maryland, but I try to visit them once or twice a year. When up there, I travel to Maryland, Virginia & Wash., DC. M...Expand for more
y only sister, 2 nieces, a nephew and a cousin all live in St.Petersburg, FL.
Hobbies: Mostly I'm into arts and crafts, dabble in water colors, acrylic paints & photography. Love touring art galleries and museums. Read a variety of books but want to read more (if I could just get away from the Tube). Do lots of walking and swimming, and will soon be purchasing a simple bike, nothing fancy, just for pedaling on the flat trails in Florida.
Travels: Love travel but just can't afford it these days. I'm very grateful for the travels here and abroad that I've enjoyed and that immensely enriched my life.
Note: Thanks to my Catholic education, religion is still strongly implanted within me....12 yrs. of the Nuns has definitely paid off!
