Edith's Story
Life
After graduation, I worked 12 years for Hudson's Southland, 3 years w/Charlie Fegreus's mother-in-law. Small world! 1997-I traveled to the Azores Islands, met my Uncle John for the first time. 1994-traveled to Hungary with my Mom, first time since she fled in the 1956 Revolution. Lots of emotions there, seeing the country after the "walls" came down. I met the rest of my mother's side of the family, very emotional-difficult to leave them. igh school all over again! I took an internship with 94.7 FM-WCSX and stayed aboard after graduation from Specs, 1997-2000, worked in Marketing. It was a great experience for me, met a lot of wonderful people. I stopped dancing w/Dancers Hungaria in 2003 (began in 1974)-we dissolved due to lack of members. I've been on the Board of Directors at the Hungarian American Cultural Center, Taylor, MI-since 2003. Working to keep my culture alive for the younger generation. I plan to attend HFCC part-time this fall, time to reinvent myself.
