Edsel's Story
Life
Married (2nd marriage) with four children (two boys and two girls). My wife is from the Philippines. We live in Southern Maryland next to the Chesapeake Bay. I've always loved the beach since childhood from going to the Jersey shore and made it a point to move near the water.
School
Attended Ohio University for undergrad and grad school. The school was located in Athens, Ohio in the middle of nowhere, but had a great campus and I had a blast. Met some good friends that I remain close to today. Also attended University of Toledo College of Law. I didnt really like Toledo but did have some good times and have plenty of memories.
Workplace

Services in Trenton, NJ. Got into the financial services business and worked at Metropolitan Life and EMB Financial Services. Moved down to Maryland and got a position with the U.S. Small Business Administration at headquarters in Washington, DC as a Business Analyst. Have been at SBA since 1990 currently the Associate Administrator of the Office of Technology (Small Business Innovation Technology). I have maintained a part time law practice doing Sport/Entertainment law (Washington, D.C). My wife and I also maintain two outside businesses located in Annapolis, Md, (Festival At Riva Shopping Center), Edsel M. Brown Jr. Advisors (Investments, Insurance, and Financial Services) and a Liberty Tax Service Franchise.
