Edward's Story
Life
After graduation, went to live in Las Cruces NM, graduated from there in 1992. I married my girlfriend from high school, Melvina Murphy, we have 3 kids, one in and out of the house, one at NMSU, GO AGGIES, one at Roosevelt elementary 3rd grade. , it's been wonderful to raise my kids in a small town. In August of 2005 I quit being a coal miner. I now work at RMCHCS in Gallup NM as the Director of Plant Operations. Coal Mining is in my blood. December 2007, I went back to work for Chevron Mining as the Engineering Manager. I plan on being here for one year, and then who knows. In April 2009, I received a promotion, I am now the Operations Manager for McKinley Mine.
