Edward A's Story
Life
I graduated in 1965, had played on the tennis team, was a nerdy scholar type. I went to UCLA, protested the Vietnam war, did pre-med work, graduating in 1969. I worked at UCLA as a kidney transplant coordinator, then went on and got my Ph.D. at UCLA in Microbiology and Immunology. Went to England for a postdoc, then to Seattle in 1979. I'm a Professor of Microbiology at the University of Washington and do biomedical research related to lymphomas and autoimmune diseases. College
